America Recycles Day November 14

America Recycles Day in Springfield
Eugene, Oregon, 11/10/2009
NextStep Recycling, City of Springfield Public Library, and M.E.C.C.A. (Material Exchange Center for Community Arts) are joining forces in celebrating America Recycles Day (ARD). Join us at the Springfield Public Library, 5th St and B St. (in City Hall), on Saturday, Nov 14, 2009 from Noon to 4pm.

This event is free and open to the public. Come learn why reuse and recycling are so important. We will have robots on display, a display on computer refurbishing, volunteer information, discount coupons, prizes, crafts, and activities for all ages.
About America Recycles Day
America Recycles Day, November 15, is the only nationally recognized day dedicated to encouraging Americans to recycle and to buy recycled products. Celebrating its 12th year, it has grown to include millions of Americans pledging to increase their recycling habits at home and work and to buy products made with recycled materials.

The purpose of America Recycles Day is to continue to promote the social, environmental and economic benefits of recycling and encourage more people to join the movement toward creating a better natural environment.
