Next Step Recycling Environment Community Economy

I'm a foster child living with my grandparents, and what I would use this computer for is to, to study, do my homework, and maybe, sometimes e-mail my best friend Sierra...
Thank You!

DONATE NOW! NextStep is seeking 30 Pentium IV wireless capable laptops to be gifted to the participants of Mobility International USA’s 4th International Women’s Institute on Leadership and Disability (WILD), to be held August 12th – September 2nd, 2008. The WILD program will bring together 30 women leaders with disabilities from around the world to strengthen their leadership skills, create new visions and build international networks of support to explore new leadership opportunities for women and girls with disabilities.

WILD women will be coming from Africa, Asia, Australia, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East, and many have limited access to technology. Access to computers is key to assisting WILD women in moving forward with their projects and maintaining international networks of support. Your donation will enable these women leaders to continue their work of addressing issues of critical importance to women and girls with disabilities around the world. NextStep will erase your laptop hard drive, install Windows XP, and over $250.00 worth of software.

NextStep is also seeking 25 Pentium IV wireless capable laptops to be gifted to the participants of Winners on Wheels summer camp for children who experience disabilities. WOW (Winners On Wheels) is a non-profit scouting type organization for kids who use wheelchairs. The Oregon Circle was Founded in 1991, and currently carries 21 Winners on the roster, with plenty of room for growth! The Winners work hard to earn Wheels (Badges) in various areas such as Basketball, Community Service, Art, Geography, etc. Everything is modified to meet the Winners ability level, but no one is ever awarded a Wheel simply because they are "disabled." The Mission is to Empower today’s youth in wheelchairs to be all they can be, and to believe in who they are. NextStep donated the winner's awards at the last sporting event, held in Concordia.

DONATE NOW AND HELP SUPPORT OUR PARTNER ORGANZATIONS AND THEIR PARTICIPANTS!
